To connect a supplier’s data to your network, they must first accept an invitation from your company. Even if a supplier already has their products and risk management data in our system, they need to approve the connection to ensure secure data sharing. If the supplier is new to our platform, they will need to set up their company information, product details, and risk management data before the connection is complete.
When you click "Send Invitation" to a supplier, they’ll receive an email outlining the steps to move forward. This keeps the process clear and secure, allowing suppliers full control over their data setup and sharing.

If the supplier is not yet in our system, the invitation email will be sent to the address you provided under “supplier email” in the export_connections file. If the supplier is already a Mitigater user, the email will automatically be sent to all users associated with the supplier's company in Mitigater.

Once the invitation is sent, you can resend it if needed, but only after at least one hour to prevent overwhelming your supplier.
