To create your Mitigater account, simply fill in the required fields on the **Sign-up form:**

• Name
  • First Name: Your first name.
  • Last Name: Your last name.
• Job Title: Your role within the organization, such as Chief Executive Officer.
• Password: Choose a secure password, then re-enter it to confirm.

• Company Registration Number (Required)

  A unique identifier, such as CRN, BIC, or Org number, that officially identifies your company.

• VAT Number

  Used for VAT-related transactions; provide this if your company is VAT-registered.

• Type of Industry

  The industry that best describes your company’s area of operation.

• Number of Employees

  The total number of employees employed across your company.

Add locations

Adding locations, such as offices and factories, is essential because it allows the platform to map out the physical footprint of your business. This information helps assess potential risks associated with each site. We have already created your Main location based on previous information.

To add a location in Mitigater, please fill in the following details:

• Country: Select the country where this location is based from the dropdown menu.
• Location Name: Enter a descriptive name for the location, such as "Lyon Office" or "Main Factory."
• Address Line 1: The primary street address for this location (e.g., 12 Avenue des Entrepreneurs).
• Address Line 2: Additional address details if needed, such as a building or suite number (optional).
• Postal Code: The postal code associated with this location.
• City: The city where the location is situated.
• Country (Confirmation): The country is auto-filled based on the selection above for double-checking accuracy.
• Registration Number (CRN/BIC/Org): Enter the unique registration number associated with this location, such as CRN, BIC, or organization ID. This helps identify the location within regulatory and compliance contexts. If a location operates under a different registration number, it must be added as a separate organization.

Once all fields are complete, click Add Location to save the information

Add certificates

In this step you can add the certifications for your company. By uploading these documents, setting expiry dates, and linking them to your business locations, you help ensure that your company’s compliance and risk management practices are clear and up to date.

For each location, we have a status checklist that covers different risk areas. As you add certifications that address these risks, the corresponding boxes will be ticked off for each location, helping you track which risks are covered and which still needs attention.
