This guide explains how to establish connections between products in your supply chain by importing connection data and linking products together. It walks through the process of uploading a connections file to map supplier relationships, and demonstrates how to manually connect products to create a complete value chain visualization.
The guide ensures you can properly document and manage product relationships within your supply network while maintaining control over supplier invitations.

We will let you know if products are missing connections - and they always do before adding the export_connections file.
Just like with your products file, drag and drop the export_connections file into the drag-and-drop area—this time in the Connections section.
Check that a sample product from your file correctly matches the expected data fields. Then click import.
Suppliers are now added and you can see the connection for each product under “Connections”.
In this case, the supplier hasn’t been invited to join as your supplier yet. This is intentional, as we want you to have control over inviting suppliers into your network. In the Invitation step, we’ll guide you through how to invite them.

To build a complete value chain, you may need to connect your products with those of your client. Start by pressing Edit in the relevant connection row.
This will open a page where you can search for and select the product to connect with. If needed, you can also update or change an existing connection on this page.
To complete the connection, first wait until the status changes to Received. Then, press the Edit button again to confirm the connection.
Once confirmed, the status will update to Confirmed, indicating that this step is successfully completed and the products are fully connected upwards in the value chain.
